Smokey Bear is an American icon, educating the public about the dangers of unplanned, human-caused wildfires for 70 years! We need help installing a few large fire danger signs from June 9-10 around the county that will relay fire danger level and fire restrictions to National Forest lands visitors. The plan will Manage Camping Opportunities and Get the Right Infrastructure
The plan will focus new recreation development in Concentration Zones and develops new programs that educate users to improve behaviors and help enforce rules on public lands.
The plan will implement seasonal closures using maps that show where wildlife have young in the spring and find food in the winter. It also enhances the best habitat and helps keep working lands productive.
